Earlier this month I attended the wonderful wedding of my big cousin Mike (Uncle Mike) and the lovely Jessica. I have spent much time with both of them over the last year and a bit: we've flown on 3 planes together, spoken 2 languages together and shared 1 letter in common in our first names... and we're related. Needless to say, I felt a little confused when I wasn't asked to speak on the big day.
Regardless, the ceremony and the reception were a truly wonderful time had by all, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't learn a little something. The most important thing I took away was that relationships are a delicate symbiotic balance of giving and receiving (which I felt I demonstrated on the day by playing both quarterback and receiver).

How is it that vancouverites manage to look dapper and sporty at the same time? I've been born into a bit of a fashion void over here - might need to come out to hang, window shop, etc. Living with the generationally impaired is beginning to bring me down anyway - maybe we just pinch some trikes and make our way down the coast. Let me know.
